ALAN CHAUBERT Born in Switzerland ,Alan Chaubert by the age of 17 starting to play professionally with different local bands and classical orchestras. Also at the same time he started to study the piano and teach music in private schools. In1985 he received a Degree with honors in performance and teaching from the Geneva Conservatory .His love for jazz lead him to go study at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston After graduation ,he started a long collaboration with a great Jazz,R&B singer ,Yvonne Taylor , as accompanist and musical director .Alan produced 4 CD’s of Yvonne Taylor .He has also organized for 4 successful European Gospel tours. During this period Alan taught at Montreux Jazz Conservatory and also plaid with local jazz bands and big bands.(some of the guest soloist were Toots Thielemans, Fred Hersh,Phil Woods ,Philip Bailey) In 1997 he moved back to USA ,and live since next to New York city and since performed extensively in and around NYC as sidemen or with his band. Since 2002 Alan Chaubert is developing an unique combination of playing the trumpet and the piano at the same time which create a very distinctive sound .He worked with some fine NYC musicians to name a few :Bill Crow, Mike Richmond, Raphael Cruz, Manolo Badrena ,Cameron Brown , Essiet Essiet , Mc Clenty Hunter ,Enrico Granafei and as well as accompanist of singers Patsy Grant , Pat Tandy.
Belden L. Bullock is an American jazz double-bassist. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Bullock learned to play bass guitar before picking up stand-up bass in the early 1970s. He studied at Berklee College of Music from 1977 to 1981 and played in the 1980s with George Adams, Roy Haynes, Andrew Hill, and Ahmad Jamal. He worked in a number of small groups in the 1990s, including Ralph Peterson, Jr.'s Fo'Tet, the Spirit of Life Ensemble, and Talib Kibwe and James Weidman's Taja quartet. Other associations in the 1990s included Oliver Lake, Abdullah Ibrahim, Greg Osby, Jay Hoggard, Donald Harrison, Kevin Eubanks, and James Spaulding.
Tony Jefferson, a New York native, is an accomplished drummer and has been a fixture on the New Yorkjazz scene for many years. He has toured around the globe playing both festivals and clubs with worldclass musicians.
Tony has performed and recorded with many jazz artists and groups including Eddie Harris, Kenny DrewJr., Lonnie Smith, Eddie Henderson, Lou Donaldson, Frank Wess, Don Friedman, Cyrus Chestnut, MarkWhitfield, Jerry Bergonzi, Joey Calderazzo, Freddy Cole, Hank Jones, Benny Golson, Cedar Walton,Vic Juris, Steve Slagle, Charles McPherson, Gary Smulyan, John Abercrombie, Marc Copland, Kevin Hayes,Rick Margitza, Cameron Brown (Danny’s Calypso and The Here & Now), Paul Beaudry and Pathways(Jazz Ambassadors Tour for Jazz at Lincoln Center), Don Byron (Ivey Divey Trio), James Weidman, Harvie S, Sheila Jordan, Nancy King, Ernestine Anderson, Annie Ross and the Westchester Jazz Orchestra.
Tony Jefferson attended the Berklee College of Music in 1984 and in 1992 placed third in the TheloniousMonk International Drum Competition. He has taught workshops and Masters classes in the USA and abroad.
